Get ready for two jam-packed performances filled with exciting competition in saddle and bareback bronc riding, tie down roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing, and bull riding. Sanctioned By Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA).

Gates open at 5:30pm and rodeo actions begins at 7:30pm. Join us Saturday evening at 6pm for our very special “Shrine Patients Rodeo” featuring local children being treated by the Shriner Hospitals.

Proceeds benefit Shrine Hospitals for Children.

Florida Horse Park Invitational @ Florida Horse Park

The Florida Horse Park Invitational will consist of a High
School 5k, Middle & Elementary school 2k & 3K. The high
school 5k will have a Varsity and JV race (NO UNATTACHED
RUNNERS). Varsity races can run 10 athletes and JV
unlimited entries. If we receive more than 50 varsity teams
registered, we will add an additional set of varsity races after
the varsity Invite and before the high school JV. The middle
school races will have a boy and girls 3k race. The elementary
2k race will be combined with boys and girls. There will be no
assigned starting boxes; it will be first come first serve. The
varsity races will be cut off at 30 minutes, your runner will be
pulled off the course. If they cannot run in under 30 minutes
they need to be in the JV race. If your athlete gets caught by
the following race they will not be in the results. All out of
state schools are welcome; please e-mail me asap if you are
coming so I can get the sanctioning process going for your
state.

Annual Ride of the Living Dead @ Landbridge Trailhead

Welcome to the 2018 Ride of the Living Dead!! We are back this year with our annual charity mountain bike ride. This year’s ride will start at the Land Bridge Trailhead.

Join us for a fun ride through the beautiful trails of the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenways.

This year’s ROLD is presented by Greenway Bicycles and Florida Greenways & Trails Foundation. All profits from this ride are donated to LOCAL Marion County charities including Pay It Forward Outreach.

The ROLD is not a race, but a ride through the scenic Santos Trail system. We will have SAG stops along the route with drinks and snacks. But, as with any ride, please be prepared with hydration, nutrition, and bicycle repair supplies.

You are welcome to ride any distance other than the designated route (approx 50 miles). Lunch will be provided at the Land Bridge Trailhead from 12-2 pm.

Costumes are welcome and highly encouraged! Please come to the registration area at 8:30am for our costume contest.

Registration is available here on Eventbrite, at Greenway Bicycle, Ocala Bicycle Center, or the day of the event.

Marion County Halloween Run 2018 @ Paddock Mall
Oct 27 @ 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm

The Paddock Mall will be hosting Marion County’s first annual Halloween Run. This event will include a chip timed 5k and a 10k. This event will also feature food trucks, live music, a costume contest and more. The 10k will start at 4:15 p.m. and the 5k will start at 4:45 p.m. Package pick-up on Friday, October 26th from 10am to 7pm in Center Court.

This is a fun race for all ages and we encourage you to dress in costume as there will be a costume contest. First 400 finishers will get a medal and everyone will receive a custom t-shirt you won’t want to miss. To register, visit http://marioncountyhalloweenrun2018.itsyourrace.com.

United Way’s St. Paddy’s Day 5K @ Citizens Circle

Race Route:
The 5K route begins and ends at Ocala’s Citizen Circle located downtown and proceeds through the downtown Historic District. The course is 100% asphalt with water provided at 1.5 miles and the finish line. A Course Map can be found at uwmc.org/StPaddys5K.

Awards & Prizes:
Door prizes can be won by all, with awards given to both Male and Females in the below categories:

Packet Pick-up:
