Each spring, Ocala/Marion County welcomes one of the most prestigious equestrian competitions in North America.
Live Oak International brings together the elegance of show jumping and the fast-paced excitement of combined driving on the sprawling grounds of Live Oak Stud. International riders, world-class competitors, rising stars, and thousands of spectators gather beneath centuries-old live oaks for four days of world-class sport, family-friendly activities, and unforgettable moments.
Overview
Live Oak International is the largest international-level combined driving and show jumping tournament in the United States and the only competition of its kind on the continent to feature both disciplines at this scale. What began as a small local driving tournament has grown into a globally recognized showcase that attracts competitors and spectators from across Europe and North America.
One of the event’s most distinctive features is its state-of-the-art grass arena, seeded over a sand-fiber base. This traditional turf surface provides an exceptional experience for horses and riders and is increasingly rare across the country.
