History of Marion County Day
Marion County Day began in 2018 as Government Day, an event created by the Marion County Board of County Commissioners to help residents learn more about local services and community resources.
In 2019, the event expanded to celebrate the anniversary of the county’s founding and was renamed Marion County Day. Today, it continues as an annual community celebration highlighting the county’s history, growth, and the people who make it special.
