Phantoms of the Fort featuring Legends of the Fort

Families can enjoy a free event within the Fort grounds for kid-friendly activities from 5-7 PM. This is a co-hosted event by the City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department and the Marion County Public Library System. Phantom Story Tellers within the Ocali Story Telling Guild will begin their tales inside of the Fort at 7 PM. There will be an intermission before the spookier stories begin (an option to have the littles or squeamish to depart) and enjoy the remaining tales from 8-9 PM.

As folks walk back to their cars (trail starting at 7 PM), they will get a taste of Fort King's Legends Trail. Optional stops and routes are available to meet our Legends of Fort King on the way back to the Klein Lot. The event is officially over at 10 PM.

*A twist from our past Legends events! Parking will be offered at the Klein Lot, ADA Parking on site.
