The Central Florida Master Choir

The Central Florida Master Choir will present its fall 2024 concert "Magnificat!" on Sunday, Dec. 1, at 3 pm at the Countryside Presbyterian Church on SR 200 and on Sunday, Dec 15, at 3 pm at Dunnellon Presbyterian Church at 20641 Chestnut St. The performance will be under the direction of Dr. Harold W. McSwain and accompanied by GayLyn Capitano and the New Moon String Ensemble.

The music will include “Magnificat” by Francesco Durante, the four Christmas Motets by Francis Poulenc, and an instrumental by Antonin Dvořák. We also are going to have some fun, with swinging versions of “Fum, Fum, Fum!” and ”You’re a Mean One, Mister Grinch,” not to mention some classics such as “It’s Beginning to Look Like Christmas,” “Bethlehem Down,” and “Hallelujah” from G.F. Handel’s Messiah.
