We understand that sometimes you need a little financial help to bring your vision to life. That’s why Ocala/Marion County offers a funding program to help fund eligible tourism programs in Marion County county.

The Ocala/Marion County Visitors and Convention Bureau (OMCVCB) provides a booking incentive program, which offers up to $2,500 to organizations that book a meeting at an Ocala/Marion County facility or venue through the Ocala/Marion County Visitors and Convention Bureau.
The OMCVCB accepts, reviews, and processes bid fees/rights fees on behalf of the Tourist Development Council, under authorization by Marion County Board of County Commissioners.
For events staged in Ocala/Marion County that attract visitors that stay in paid overnight accommodations in Marion County subject to Tourist Development Tax. Funding will be provided as a reimbursement in direct correlation for room nights generated and approved eligible expenses per program guidelines.
The Arts and Cultural Destination Enhancement Funding Program is a multi-faceted approach to enhancing the tourism product within Ocala/Marion County and aid in the programming and promotions of arts, cultural, history, heritage and nature experiences that, as one of their main purposes, attract tourists, as evidenced by the promotion of the experience to tourists.
Funding proposals should not be submitted without an approved letter of intent.
The Marketing Assistance Funding Program is designed to enable tourism-related businesses in Marion County to enhance their marketing opportunities leveraged with the Ocala/Marion County destination brand.
No applications will be accepted until after the the applicant attends a workshop.
