History of Golfing in Ocala/Marion County

With a golfing legacy spanning over a century, Ocala/Marion County has been immersed in the sport for generations. The inaugural golf course, originally named the Ocala Heights Golf Club, was established in the early 1900s, laying the foundation for a rich golfing tradition in the area.
