Country Chalet Inn

The Country Chalet Inn is located between Ocala and Dunnellon, Florida — nestled in the rolling hills and fields of Florida’s horse country and minutes away from kayaking, fishing, and nature trails.

Our inn is small, quiet and cozy with only 7 rooms. Each room has its own entrance off a main courtyard. The rooms are all tastefully decorated with a queen-size or king-size bed, sitting area, 32″ TV, microwave, refrigerator, electric fireplace, walk-in shower, Jacuzzi tub, two closets and small table with two chairs. The space itself is approximately 580 square feet. Cable TV and WiFi provided. Laundry facilities are available for stays 1 week and longer. In addition, each room has its own separate entrance with access to a common with a gazebo, patio tables, chairs and gas grill.

We are a pet friendly location for cats and non-aggressive dogs.

For the horse rider/trainer, the Country Chalet Inn is close to all HITS, Live Oak and the World Equestrian Center events as well as Classic Mile Thoroughbred Training Center.

For the nature lover, we are minutes from the Rainbow Springs State Park and the Rainbow River Head Spring — some of the clearest water around. Many other springs are in our area. Our area is known for its great kayaking, birding, biking, hiking, boating, and fishing. If you want to see manatees or mermaids, Crystal River, Homosassa and Weeki Wachee are just short drives away.

Orlando, Disney, Universal and Sea World are only 1.5 hours away. Tampa, Busch Gardens, and white sandy beaches are 2 hours away. Gainesville is about 1 hour away.
