Eighth Avenue Adult Activity Center

The Eighth Avenue Adult Activity Center located in Tuscawilla Park provides the opportunity for adults 50 years of age and older to participate in educational programs, become physically active, socialize and learn about community resources or receive referrals for services. This center was formerly the home of WTMC, the first radio station in Marion County which started broadcasting in 1939. The Eighth Avenue Adult Activity Center offers a wide variety of activities, programs and special events to our adult citizens. Bingo, bridge, dance, educational and environmental classes, exercise, games, health, movies, trips and woodcarving are available throughout the year.
