James Two Brothers Distillers

James Two Brothers Distillery was established by Paul L. James and his brother Timothy A. James on June 18, 2012 as a micro distillery for small boutique-style production of beverage grade spirit alcohol. We have now received TTB Federal, ATB State Licensing and City of Ocala Zoning approval.

We offer 3 types of Rum and 3 types of Whiskey. We are conducting tours and sampling to the public at 11:00am the 2nd Saturday of every month. We have direct purchases available at our Distillery.

The dedicated local people who work with a love for what they do, and create spirits that reflect it, you begin to grasp the importance of buying craft, and buying it locally, instead of from an international conglomerate.

We choose Ocala for numerous reasons, not the least of which is the abundance of pure natural spring water abundant in the area. Arguably cleaner than mountain fed streams, the subterranean water here is naturally filtered and pure. There is also an unpretentious presence of small scale natural grain and cane farming, which assures we know what we are buying, and who we buy it from. We hope this will encourage and support local growers who, like us, care about how they work, and why.
There is a distinct difference between craft and production Spirits. It takes time to produce a craft Spirit, and if you have a patient palate, you can readily notice the difference. You will also notice the next day, and we hope J2B will help to delineate that difference.
