The property carries deep historical significance, having once been home to the Timucua people and later serving as a prominent 20th-century citrus farm. At the hilltop parking area, guests are greeted by a historic roadside citrus shop and a vintage windmill that nod to the area's rich agricultural past. Open daily from sunrise to sunset, the park welcomes nature enthusiasts, birdwatchers, hikers, and leashed dogs to enjoy a peaceful retreat into Florida's pristine landscape.

Please use caution: Trails are unpaved and may have exposed roots, stumps or uneven ground. Trails pass through upland hardwood forest and successional hardwood forest requiring ongoing removal in invasive plant infestations.

Stay on designated trails to avoid trespassing. Always take precautions to deter biting and stinging insects and respectfully observe wildlife from a safe distance. Hikers and bikers share the trail - use courtesy when interacting with other trail users.

Preserve is open from sunrise to sunset.
Dogs are welcome as long as they remain on a leash.
Trails are unpaved and in some places can be muddy, uneven, or wet.
Drones are not permitted without permission from ACT. (Alachua Conservation Trust)
ATVs and Motorized vehicles are prohibited.
No littering, dumping, or smoking
Trails include steep inclines and declines.
No removal or disturbance of plants, animals, or artifacts
No hunting or shooting
