Rainbow Springs State Park

Today, the 1,000 acre Rainbow Springs State Park offers countless ways to enjoy its beautiful natural environment and crystalline springs that remain 72 degrees year-round. You can paddle or tube down the Rainbow River. Lounge around the small beach at the Headsprings and dive into a cordoned-off swimming area. Take a stroll through the woods and experience lush, mossy hammocks, sloping hills, ornamental gardens and man-made waterfalls. And after you've worked up an appetite, you can sit down at a charming concession area and enjoy sandwiches, snacks, soft drinks and everyone's favorite sweet treat -- ice cream.

Rainbow Springs State Park is open every day of the year from 8 a.m. to sunset. Standard admission at the Headsprings is $2 per person, free for children under 6.
