City of Ocala Customer Appreciation Day

The City of Ocala will host Customer Appreciation Day on Thursday, Oct. 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Citizens’ Circle, 151 SE Osceola Ave., located behind City Hall. The free community event will feature food, music, family-friendly activities and opportunities for residents to connect with City departments and learn more about municipal services.

As part of the event, current City of Ocala utility customers will have the opportunity to receive municipal bill-credit vouchers for eligible services. Participating departments include Ocala Electric Utility, Ocala Fiber Network, Public Works – Sanitation and Water Resources.

Eligible customers may receive one bill-credit voucher per utility service associated with their municipal service account. City staff will be available during the event to verify customer account information and eligibility.

Customer Appreciation Day will feature activities for all ages, including bucket truck rides, face painting, Kona Ice and music from a live DJ. Food and beverages will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

In addition to the activities, representatives from participating City departments will be available throughout the evening, giving residents an opportunity to meet the employees who provide essential services throughout the community and learn more about the programs and resources available to City customers.

Customer Appreciation Day is free and open to the community. A City of Ocala municipal service account is not required to attend the event; however, only current City of Ocala utility customers who meet eligibility requirements may receive bill-credit vouchers.
