Enjoy a free, public outdoor adventure! The Hike Across Marion County, hosted by the Sandhill Chapter of the Florida Trail Association, features guided hikes on six consecutive Saturdays at different scenic locations. Join any hike you choose—or complete all six to earn a special badge!

Ross Prairie State Forest to Pruitt Trailhead
Allow 3.5 hours for this hike of 7 miles.
Bring a hat,water,snacks and bug spray is always a good idea. If you tend to use a hiking stick, please bring it.
Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome.
