Jeff Davies of the “Florida: A History in Pictures”
Overview
The Marion County Museum of History and Archaeology’s next program is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, 2026. The program will be held at Green Clover Hall, 319 SE 26th Terr., Ocala and will begin at 2 p.m. Following the program there will be a reception at the museum’s home, the historic East Hall, located at 307 SE, 26th Terr. Both buildings are in the McPherson Government Complex.
The presenter will Jeff Davies of the “Florida: A History in Pictures” Facebook group. He is out with a new book entitled “Florida: A History In Pictures.” At the reception there will be an opportunity to purchase copies of the book and have the author sign them.
The program is free to museum members. Non-members’ cost is $5.00.
Come join us in Green Clover Hall then tour the museum to see some of the changes. While at the museum, pick up one of the museum’s shirts. They are great publicity for the museum when you wear them out and about. While in the lobby check out the books in the store.
