Mark the 9.11 National Day of Service and Remembrance by volunteering to give back to your local community.
Silver Springs State Park will have various volunteer service projects available to those who reserve a spot. Participants will have an opportunity to plant native species or perform trail maintenance to help make the park a better place.
Please arrive at the campground entrance to the park -- 1425 NE 58th Ave., Ocala, FL 34488 -- a little before 9 AM. The Ranger Station will direct you to the service project area.
