Reading with the Ranger is a family-friendly literacy program led by a City of Ocala Park Ranger. Children and their families are invited to enjoy engaging storytime sessions featuring all types of theme books.
Each program includes an interactive read-aloud with a ranger and sometimes simple hands-on activities such as nature observations, movement games, etc. Typically, programs take place in a park setting—outdoors when weather permits—allowing participants to hear fun stories and being in the outdoors.
