Town of Reddick
A Warm & Welcoming History
George Bender Reddick and his wife established a hotel and store in 1880 in the area now known as the town of Reddick.
Set amid Ocala/Marion County’s lush horse country, Reddick is home to one of the area’s more celebrated equestrian farms and horse-training facilities, which is also a destination resort and club for horse-lovers. Notable to the area, the Ocala Jockey Club is set amid rolling hills rarely seen in Florida, and virtually everywhere you look there are beautiful and majestic horses.
