An active appreciation of fine arts has been an integral part of our culture in Ocala/Marion County, Florida. The Brick City Center for the Arts serves downtown Ocala as a gallery for local artists with exhibits changing monthly, and the Appleton Museum of Art showcases world-class collections of European, American, Asian, African, Islamic, Contemporary and pre-Columbian art and antiquities.
